KRISTINE BYRNE was born in Dublin , daughter of a Dutch mother and Irish father.
The family travelled constantly until her teens ,when they settled in Ireland , where she was schooled in the strictest and most uncreative manner at the Diocesan School for (prim) Girls!
Art education was in London….B.A. fine art…Central School of art. MA….Chelsea Art School.
After many years in London , she moved to Southern Portugal for 11years…exhibiting there frequently….
returning to Ireland in 1993. where she now lives, in Wicklow…
